Develop implementation guidelines for Environmental Impact Statements under the new Regional Official Plan.

The finalisation of the Greenlands Network Implementation Guideline has been held up by the fact that the implementing policy in the Regional Official Plan is under appeal to the Ontario Municipal Board (O.M.B.) along with all the rest of the Regional Official Plan. Once the appeals are resolved, we can approve the Guidelines promptly.Progress Update (September 2013)

The Guideliness have been prepared and are ready to be consdiered for adoption by Council once the new Regional Official Plan has been approved by the Ontario Municipal Board.

Progress Update (January 2013)

The Greenlands Network Implementation Guideline was circulated to agencies and the environmental consulting community for comment and was the subject of a Public Meeting of the Planning and Works Committee in March 2011.

The guideline is ready to be submitted for Council consideration, but cannot be submitted until the implementing policy in the Regional Official Plan is approved by the Ontario Municipal Board (OMB).
